In 2022, I set a goal in my Notion journal to create a thriving coaching business. Now, as we approach the end of 2023, I'm excited to share the milestones that have marked my journey from a dream to a flourishing reality.

Launching Kathie’s Coaching & Consulting
February 2023 marked the beginning of this adventure. I officially opened 'Kathie’s Coaching and Consulting LLC,' a significant step towards making my vision tangible. This step not only represented the birth of my brand but also my commitment to this new path.
Crafting a Unique Coaching System
Every coach needs a system. I invested time in developing a coaching methodology that resonates with my values and effectiveness. This system has been the backbone of my services, providing structured yet flexible guidance to my clients.
Leveraging Technology for Efficiency
In March, I discovered TidyCal – a scheduling tool for which I purchased lifetime access for just $29. It streamlined my appointment booking process, allowing me to focus more on coaching and less on administrative tasks.
First Clients and a Shift in Perspective
By April, I had welcomed my first three clients. Their trust in my abilities was humbling and motivating. The real game-changer came in May, when a one-on-one coaching call with Joseph Rodrigues led to an epiphany. His insights enabled me to make "quantum leaps" in my approach.
Marketing Mastery with AIDA and ChatGPT
I embraced the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) for marketing and learned to effectively use ChatGPT for crafting compelling messages. This combination significantly increased my outreach and engagement.
Balancing Roles and Doubling Income
In June, a bonus as the Fitness and Wellness Director at OCuSOFT a large ophthalmic supply company outside of Houston, Texas provided financial leverage. This success was a testament to my ability to balance my entrepreneurial aspirations with my existing career, eventually leading to a doubling of my income.
Building an Online Presence
Going live on Instagram regularly helped me become a go-to coach in my niche. Consistency in these sessions was key to building a loyal audience and establishing my expertise.
This came from my work with Social Curator and a group coaching call with Jasmine Star. I love Social Curator and have been using it for 3 years now.

I love Social Curator and it’s worth every penny! Unlike Amy! And I still have yet to spend as much money on SC as I spent with Amy. And I only used Amy for 9 weeks. I’ve used Social Curator for 1,872 weeks. What?! That’s just crazy!
Incorporating Automation and Continuous Learning
In September, I learned about automation from Lauren Tickner, integrated her processes into my business. This step ensured that my business could run efficiently without compromising my role as the Fitness and Wellness Director.
Investing in Growth
November saw me investing in the Roadmap business course, which offered master resell rights, promising a significant return on investment. Additionally, finding ways to market popular content about Amy Porterfield and her unethical marketing practices on my blog added another dimension to my business.
Maintaining Integrity
Throughout this journey, I've stayed true to my values of transparency and ethics in coaching. I believe this integrity has been key to my success and client trust.
