Quit giving responsibility a bad wrap. Take your power back and shift your perspective.

Responsibility as stated in A Course In Miracles Chapter 21 Responsibility for Sight

Say only this, but mean it with no reservations, for here the power of salvation lies: I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for and receive as I have asked. Deceive yourself no longer that you are helpless in the face of what is done to you.

 Mental Diet

What is a diet without a meal plan? An important element of a mental diet meal plan is responsibility.

But responsibility gets a bad rap and today I want to shift your perspective on this topic.

Matthew McConaughey lost his father at a young age, I think around the age of 20. After the stages of grief, he found that if his father had lived, he wouldn't have been the actor he was today because he relied on his father so much. That is responsibility.

Shame is an emotion often associated with responsibility. Where is shame on the emotional guidance scale by Esther Hicks / Abraham Hicks? Not very high quality.

Pitfalls of no responsibility

  • Pitfall #2 Shame sets in

  • Pitfall #3 You give your power away

  • Pitfall #4 Blame

Solutions

  • Solution #1 Boundaries

  • Solution #2 Victim - Victimizer Cycle

  • Solution #4 No one is to blame

Start shifting your view of responsibility, and watch your life transform in magic fashion.
