Carol's Journey with Kathie’s Coaching

As a coach, I have been privileged to work with remarkable individuals on their paths to personal growth and wellness. Today, I am thrilled to share the incredible journey of one of my dear sorority sisters from college in the 80s, Carol, who has been an absolute inspiration throughout her coaching experience with me.

How Carol and I know each other

From our college days to reconnecting over lunch at Pappasito's  🌮😋 (Yum!) once a quarter, Carol and I have always shared a special bond. In March of this year, during one of our lunch meetups, Carol expressed her desire to take charge of her health and well-being. She wanted to make positive changes in her lifestyle and embrace a more vibrant, active, and fulfilling life. This is when she decided to sign up for my coaching program without hesitation.

Carol’s commitment

From the outset, Carol displayed a remarkable commitment to her goals. Throughout our coaching sessions, she consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication and a passion for personal growth. Her determination to push past barriers and embrace new challenges was truly admirable.

How it began

Carol's journey began with a comprehensive evaluation of her fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle habits. Together, we crafted a personalized plan that aligned perfectly with her unique needs and aspirations. She embraced a balanced fitness routine, incorporating invigorating Orange Theory Fitness ( a workout after my own heart) sessions and recently added strength training workouts at Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness

At first, she was reluctant to go to Planet Fitness as her experience with a “gym” was not ideal. But I convinced her otherwise. Today she absolutely loves Planet Fitness with the black card membership at under $25 per month and enjoys the red light therapy and the hydro massage. And of course, the simple 30-minute workout area.

The progress she made in her workouts was evident through her diligent tracking of active calories, average heart rate, and maximum heart rate through her Orange Theory Workout emails and now her Samsung Galaxy Watch.

Nutrition

One of Carol's most significant accomplishments was in the realm of nutrition. She recognized the importance of fueling her body with the right nutrients and promptly incorporated my recommended protein powder and BCAAs with electrolytes into her routine. With her smartwatch tracking her progress, she optimized her fitness journey while ensuring her health and well-being.
