Amy Porterfield’s $37 Course ‘Subscribed’ Review
Your girl signed up for Amy Porterfield’s $37 Course ‘Subscribed’. Why would I spend $37 for a course from Amy? I did it to see if her strategies are new and improved and also to see if perhaps she has changed. Maybe? Just a little?
One day into the course I will say I have very little hope for your ‘sweet friend’ Amy. I say that with sarcasm because she always says “hello my sweet friend” in her marketing. She does know that I am not ‘sweet’ on her and I am inside her online marketing made sl-easy email list.
I apologize if this offends you. That is not my intention. My intentions are to call Amy out for her bro-marketing as my blog posts about Amy are very popular. Why? Because I am not an affiliate and all the reviews out there are affiliate marketing which means that person is paid by Amy’s business to promote her products. You will find very little truth in most affiliate marketing.
So far, Amy has already asked to VIP at a price of $97 extra. (She calls them VIPERS.🙄) And the VIP button is prominently placed at the top of every page. Which, I feel, makes those of us who are not VIP “less than.” Already a strike against her IMO.
Dear Amy,
Just FYI, anyone who spends money with you is a very important person, whether that $ amount is $5 or $20k. But hey, you ‘ve already bragged about your $100 million dollar business. So we know who your VIP is. (Scroll down to the bottom for the real truth about her million dollar business, links included.)
Day One
On day one we are welcomed with a very fancy intro talking all about how great Amy is. Bragging about her business, her speaking engagements, and more. I would say that intro lasted a good 5 minutes. It felt like an hour. Kudos to her but she has no shame in complimenting her so sweet, innocent-sounding self.
Facebook for the Community
Amy still uses Facebook for her community. To me this low quality and she even mentioned that Facebook is not all that great. I can tell you that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of folks in there who have stars in their eyes on the future this course so-called promises them. It is sad and it breaks my heart that they have so far to go. And this course is most likely not the answer they are looking for.
But I have hope. Maybe that is part of her subliminal marketing as I am now smack dab in the middle of this.
Just FYI I will remain quiet in the Facebook group. I am just there for research and nothing more. And in my mind my $37 went to feed her sweet dog, Scout. 🐶

Day Two - Create a Lead Magnet
I am too far into this now to quit. But I am sick!! 🤮 The struggle is real.
So far nothing has changed with Amy. She banks on her reputation. A reputation she has strategically built - part of her bro marketing strategy. And the people inside are full of stars, or is it hearts in their eyes for dear, sweet Amy. I’m sorry but she is so fake, this is killing me y’all. 😭
She banks on pain points. I see the same kinds of people inside this group. She speaks to everyone. For example, she says this is for you if you have zero subscribers. AND this is for you if have a giant list. And then out of the side of her mouth she says…..
“If you speak to everyone you speak to no one.” A common quote from business coaches telling us to niche down. And yes this is important. But the coach is not practicing what she preaches. Why? Because of her reputation AND her pocketbook.
She is really pushing the VIP program. I guess she still needs to meet her $100 million dollar business figure. And the sad thing is this is ALL A PLOY TO GET YOU TO BUY DIGITAL COURSE ACADEMY OR WHATEVER SHE IS LAUNCHING NOW. Yes, this is now part of her launch.
Mindset Moments
So Amy has these 15 minute Mindset Moments during the bootcamp. And I will be talking about those here as well.
Day 1 is DSD - DSD stands for Do Something Different.
This is not new. This is actually an insult to the intelligence of a mindset coach. Does Amy even know that most of her “students” are mindset coaches? Amy, stay in your lane. But I see right through your BS.
Oh but we are paying for this so most people who now know how fake Amy is are not inside this program.
Anyhow the reason she is doing this is because she knows her online coaching junkies have tried everything and the only way she is going to INFLUENCE them is to get them to shift to her perspective.
This is a strategy introduced by Robert Chaldini in his book Influence. Oh and Tony Robbins. You do know that Amy’s rise to fame came because she worked for Tony Robbins. Yeah, she throw that influence card out there too.
Her Mindset Moment had me throwing up, several times. But hey, I am doing this for my community. And my $37 went to feed her cute dog Scout.🐶🐶🐶 (it works for me!)
Lead Magnet
Let’s get back to the lead magnet thing. Inside day two she tells her “students” to jump into the Facebook group and ask for feedback on your lead magnet idea.
And yes this is great but there are two things I notice:
#1. Blinded by the Light
I see that these people have stars in their eyes so much like the ones I had and my accountability pod back in 2021. Remember the “online coaching junkies?” Yes those, they are Amy’s favorite customers and they are there in full swing. I suspect 95% of them will never make it. Why? Because there are so many resources Amy does not teach. Her model is so outdated. Which leads me to #2.
#2. You Need A Complete Plan
I saw one gal in the group who had a technical question about Mailer Lite. I had the answer to her question. I did not answer in the group, no I don’t want to call attention to myself. I messaged her because I just could not bear to watch someone crash and burn. I gave her the answer, short and sweet. I did not dare send her to my website though. I don’t want to disenchant her - YET. But trust me, when Amy starts upselling I will tell my new friend all about my blog. Let’s just hope it’s not too late and she’s already blindsided by the online marketing made sl-easy.
Amy knows this! But this is part of her marketing plan. You will continue to NEED so much more!
You see, I have the solution to Amy’s BS. It 100% has to do with this program. This program teaches you EVERYTHING!! And the cost is less than $500. And you have master resell rights to this program. This means you stand to make 100% profit in one sale.
Whereas if you stay disenchanted with dear sweet Amy Porterfield you will end up spending 1,000% more and only standing on a very weak foundation. But go ahead, if that’s your thing. Knock your lights out.
A FREE and Simple Solution
Let’s go back to the lead magnet. Amy’s way will have you spending hours on a project and hopefully you will find something that sticks. Heck, I did it Amy’s way and made several lead magnets. I would say 30 before I found this simple and free and proven solution.
Inside the Roadmap I learned all about digital products, master resell rights, and private label products, and lead magnets and a whole lot more!! Yes, they even teach you about this. In fact, I learned about this in November of 2023. I was like - where have you been my sweet friend? No, I don’t say ‘sweet friend’….it was more like “where have you been all of my life??”
And I learned about a program called Gamma.app that uses AI to create a lead magnet that will work because it is proven to work. (And it is FREE!) Not by others in a freaking Facebook Group, not because Amy Porterfield says it is an awesome idea (most of which are NOT). But because it is a proven strategy.

Follow Janessa for more great tips on building an excellent online business. It will be quicker and easier than Amy’s way, I promise. And whole heck of a lot less expensive!!

Two Days in and Amy Porterfield has NOT Changed
My point in telling you ALL of this thus far is …. Amy has not changed and neither has her online marketing strategies. In fact, I feel they are worse.
You see she is charging a base fee of $37 for “List Builders Society” (a name she used to use) … oh wait I mean “Subscribed Bootcamp.” And then charges you another $97 to become a VIP….oh wait “a very special, and important VIPER,” as opposed to those of us who remain behind in the $37 program. 😭🤮🙄
But let’s not forget, my $37 goes to feed Scout. 🐶🤣
And she charges because she hopes that will keep people like me and others who have reached out to me because of my articles out of the system.
Spoiler alert - The entire bootcamp is better off as a ‘lead magnet’ because that is all Amy is doing.
Amy is leading you into her very misleading programs that cost so much freaking money and get you very little in return, unless you work really hard and niche down. Just so you know, there is a better way and there are far better coaches (or as she calls herself teachers) out there.
Remember this is an unregulated market. Buyer Beware!
Okay I think that’s it for Day 2. I will be back on Monday to reveal more details from this eye-opening program. Why Monday? Because Amy does not work Friday to Monday. Something she brags about. But trust me, the Facebook groupies will be working away all weekend on this lead magnet thing that Amy wholeheartedly supports.
Gamma.app (that I mentioned above) is quicker, easier, and a 2024 way to create a lead magnet!
Not me, I will be staying in my flow state. Listening to coaches and teachers who discuss the entire process of business and coaching and make it easy and fun. I won’t be looking for approval inside the Facebook Group like the others because I do not need it.
But I will be looking for lost souls who truly want to make a change in their lives and business and the lives of others. Because their voice needs to be heard and Amy’s needs to shushed!!

Oh the mental capacity this is taking for me to listen to Amy. She has not changed. It feels like she has lost her luster. She sounds off. I can’t quite put my finger on it but she sounds unsure and out of her game.
(Speaking of off, even Jasmine Star sounds off. I am inside Social Curator. Things in that world seem to be crumbling. I can’t quite put my finger on it.)
It appears Amy is reading content that her team (of 36) created. And it also appears she did not check the validity of all of it. It appears she does not know what she is talking about. This is sad! I almost feel sorry for her. I would feel sorry for her if her programs were not so expensive and she was robbing those folks out of so much freaking money.
The content is so outdated and will definitely leave you needing so much more. It feels like Amy has fallen behind in the world. It appears she has bots or people she has paid to be in the group to make it look bigger.
So many with stars in their eyes, so many with big dreams. And all of that is good but after listening to her content - it is nothing new. In fact, it is outdated. I mean seriously outdated. Like online businesses do not operate like she is teaching anymore..
She sounds desperate. Very desperate. Valentine’s Day she has a big announcement. I suspect it is all about her launch which will leave you wanting more. Read more below on Amy’s desperate energy and why I called it that……
And the mindset trainings, she appears lost. She has to look at her notes often. She looks to the side often and it looks really off. This is where I see her confidence wane. Even during her bootcamp classes…..she appears off.
I will see you tomorrow and let you know IF we learn something new, something resourceful, something worth a minimum of $37. I have very little hope but I do have a tiny bit of hope!!
The Last Day - The Big Day? Or the Big Flop?

Spoiler Alert: It is all a launch! For List Builders Society. Fornutately, the cost of List Builders Society is only $497. Unfortunately, you will need so much more.
Amy spent 39 minutes “teaching” and the rest of the time launching and selling (and insulting the intelligence of those who see right through her). This ‘big day’ was 2 hours and 29 minutes and 39 minutes were spent ‘teaching’ - you do the math!! 😭🤮😒
I don’t push this because I do not care if I sell this product or not but the Roadmap will teach you everything you need to know about this and more. And the best part is you can re-sell it for 100% profit. Cost is exactly the same as LBS. AND you learn so much more than just building a list.
I bought the Roadmap for my business building - if I sell it great. But the value I have gotten from it are worth every penny. And it is so much more helpful and teaches you so much more than poor (desperate energy) Amy.
AND they update this program regularly and call in experts on all the things you need to build a business. And not just an email list. Did I mention the cost of the Roadmap is $497? This is the same exact cost of Amy’s (missing so much) List Builder’s Society. AND you get master resell rights at 100% profit. Please know, that this is the future of online courses and trainings. Amy? Not so much. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
This bootcamp was a complete waste!! Except for all the yummy treats I fed Scout. Yeah I still hang on to that! Hey, it makes me feel better.
Amy does not teach anything new. In fact, she leaves you wanting and needing so much more. But that is her intention.
Why did I call Amy ‘desperate energy’?
The reason I did this is because she answered a gal’s question about spending the $497, seemed like a lot of money is, and I quote, “desperate energy.” Yes Amy told her that she had ‘desperate energy'.
Amy had one thing right, the gal had a limited mindset. But the energy part was, if I am being honest, projected by Amy herself.
Amy’s marketing has desperate energy inside of it. Why? Because she needs to support her lavish lifestyle which if people honestly look at her is quickly going up in smoke.
Her teachings are outdated.
Google Master Resell Rights, google Private Label Rights, and see what products are out there now.
These type of products are helping us become better coaches, and they are helping us do what we strive to do, and that is help others.
Amy’s teachings will only have you working more, working longer, and taking away from the very thing you strive to do HELP OTHERS!
I saw so many questions about tech things, like system.io, mailer lite, convert kit, kajabi, landing pages, lead magnets, and 100% of those questions are answered in the Roadmap. With Amy you will still need to research or ask her tech guy. And even then do these folks know to ask the tech guy?
It infuriates me that she is still stealing money from people and providing very little value. Her teachings are outdated and out of style. But to a newbie, she appears to have all the solutions.
I was there 3 years ago. I thought she was the best thing. From my experience, it is subliminal. But also, she is losing it. Slowly but surely - she is losing it!
Don’t waste your money!
Amy bragged about getting coaching and spending $17,000 on a mastermind when she first left Tony Robbins and was broke. And throwing the name Tony Robbins out there so many freaking times. Amy, please stop doing that!
And you, please do not spend $17,000 on a mastermind if you are small and getting started. Unless this mastermind has proven results. This market is unregulated. These people promise the moon but talk out of both sides of their mouth.
Save yourself time and money! Run, don’t walk, and google the things I told you about. Buy the Roadmap. And you don’t have to buy it from me. I don’t need you to. But buy it! It will save you so much time and grief.
And if worse comes to worse you can sell it to your business bestie and make 100% profit. It’s easy! And it’s the way of 2024!
Now that’s a deal! And you’ll be well on your way to building an email list but more importantly, a complete business that you know and love with ease.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share what I learned in the workshop today. I just do not have the capacity to listen to her fake crap! I have better things to do. Like work on my business that I love in flow and with love and passion. That’s not work!! It’s fun!
Things are not adding up….
So there are many people out there who have been scammed by Amy Porterfield. One of the gal’s sent me this link that stated the true value of Amy’s business.
Amy bragged in this bootcamp that her business made 100 million dollars. And the actual numbers are $6 million dollars. I don’t know something doesn’t add up here. Maybe she spent 94 million dollars on advertising or Facebook or something?
But just like everything else with Amy, it doesn’t add up.
One final thing before I go, someone posted in the group that she was not learning anything new. I caught that and reached out to her. She was disappointed in Amy. I don’t know if she is new. I told her about my blog but again, this is not my thing. I do not care anymore.
In fact, I am through wasting energy on Amy and her fake, desperate, inauthentic, unethical, and non substantial things.
